Inspired by the spectacular landscapes of the region, William Wordsworth, Dorothy Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Robert Southey, and Charles Lamb are best remembered for their incredible depictions of the English fells, lakes, and coastlines, which continue to inspire visitors from around the world. Here, through their selected writings, we are reminded of the lasting influence that this exquisite place has on this famous group of writers.
